Carrie A. Kercsmar
Carrie A. Kercsmar received her Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law in 2000. Ms. Kercsmar's areas of practice include commercial litigation, construction and construction defect litigation, real estate and labor and employment matters. Ms. Kercsmar is presently admitted to practice in Arizona, the District Court of Arizona and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Kercsmar has prsented seminars and served as a panelist in several of her practice areas, including construction defect and insurance matters.
Ms. Kercsmar is a 1997 graduate of the Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business. While attending California Western School of Law, Ms. Kercsmar received the American Jurisprudence award in Legal Theory and Jurisprudence.
As an active member of the Arizona legal community, Ms. Kercsmar is a leader in many organizations. She is the Vice President of the Arizona Women’s Lawyers Association and a board member for the Maricopa County Bar Association Young Lawyers’ Division. Ms. Kercsmar is the 2006 and 2007 Chairperson of the Maricopa County Bar Association's "Law Week," an annual week of charity events sponsored by the Bar Association. She has also volunteered in numerous other community legal programs such as the Volunteer Lawyers Program, Wills for Heros, the State Bar of Arizona's Mentor Program and the Maricopa County Superior Court's Student Courthouse Experience.
Ms. Kercsmar was born in Fargo, North Dakota, and moved to Arizona in 1987.
